As the VPSM of TSS Solutions, Michael is responsible for managing the Business Development and Marketing team and for implementing the growth strategy to achieve the sales goals, objectives, and methods supporting the CEO. Michael brings experience managing multiple sales teams of direct reports, matrixed sellers and distributors and channels ranging from small to large teams. Michael also leverages his expertise in tools and systems development to provide business control information to leadership peers and other stakeholders.

   

Michael’s expertise is in wireless technologies that span the gamut from SIGINT/EW solutions to border security solutions involving radar, counter-UAS, long-range cameras and layered sensor solutions deployed in fixed, relocatable, and mobile surveillance platforms, as well as government use of LTE across state and local, as well as federal civilian agencies and departments.

Before TSS Solutions, Michael served in multiple senior leadership team roles for IBM, Northrop Grumman, Harris Corporation, BAE Systems, and Elbit Systems of America, as well as start-ups Firetide, Inc. and Agile Access Control engaged in Hardware- and Software-as-a-Service solutions and business models.

   

Michael served over 20 years as a sworn Police Officer and Detective. His passions and aptitude for technology led him to accept a civilian role managing public safety systems for the City of Oakland, CA, during their recovery efforts from major disasters before being asked to join IBM as their first Public Safety and Criminal Justice Global Consultant. Michael also served on the Boards of the Integrated Criminal Justice Information Systems Institute and Web Wise Kids, where his ten years of volunteer service awarded him the acknowledgment as a Champion for Children.

   

Michael holds a Bachelors's Degree from the University of Redlands and numerous certificates from Long Beach State, the State of California, and other specialized training and education, including as a Remote Drone Pilot.
